On Sunday, February 21, the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra continues its 2015/16 concert season. in the Serbian National Theater on the small stage “Pera Dobrinović” starting at 8 p.m.

In the year when the whole music world is celebrating 260 years since the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, symphonists will play in honor of this great man.

On that occasion, he will perform his Symphony no. 25, which is particularly famous for Miloš Forman’s masterful film Amadeus, which used its first movement as the striking opening music, then Concerto for Horn and Orchestra no. 4, as well as the last of Mozart’s three symphonies composed in the summer of 1788 – Symphony no. 41, better known as “Jupiter”.

The young horn player Nikola Ćirić, a member of the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra and solo horn player of the Belgrade Philharmonic, who is currently in postgraduate studies at the University “Mozarteum”, will present himself as a soloist. ” in Salzburg in the class of professor Radovan Vlatković. At the conductor’s desk will be Jonathan Brett, a distinguished English conductor whose performances are known for their exceptional originality and “insight”, but also for a rare sensibility, connected with a clear and brilliant manual technique.
